What is up with this girl, she is confusing me?

I too had an experience like yours.. I believe she is getting comfortable woth you.. you are getting settled into her life now.. she is seeing you as someone that is caring and nice and she appreciates now.. She laughs at your jokes because she likes to see you smile.. this is a huge sign that u (may) attract her.. The smile when she was leaving basikly means (see you around, im happy you came) Your becoming someone she can really on and some sort of good friend.. when she texts you or talks to you start becoming more of a guy dat likes her.. do gentle men like things.. tell her sweet things.. shes pretty, her eyes are nice, bring out the list of why a guy would be lucky to have her with him, you kno the drill.. I believe in my point of view she likes you (can mean anything from a friend to boyfriend its 50 50) but i say u got a good chance at boyfriend :) and about her liking your friend i think she she might probably have liked him but its looking like your getting into the picture and taking his place.. anything is possible tho.. hope i helped my friend.
