What should I get my boyfriend for our 1 year anniversary?

July is our one year anniversary. We are in a very serious relationship. He told me he has an entire day planned for us at the Jersey Shore and a gift for me. He doesn't wear jewelry but I would like to get him something that has the same meaning as a promise ring. He has clothes, and technology (laptop, iphone, ipod, etc) Im looking for something special but not corny. I already bought him a watch and a picture frame of us for Christmas. Any ideas?
