Which words in Japanese do you believe that are pronounced the same in Spanish or any other foreign language?
Here's some in Japanese that I found with similar sounds that also exist in Spanish. 又 is mata and its the conjunction for and or while and can also mean again and has various other meanings as well in Japanese. In Spanish, it has nearly the same pronunciation and if it came from matar it means kills because matar means to kill but it can also be a noun for shrub, bush, clump, tuft, or hassock. 傘 is kasa which means umbrella and is almost pronounced as the Spanish word for house, casa but not quite. 傘 is paraguas in Spanish. 馬 is uma and is sort of looks like it is pronounced like the Portuguese for one which is also uma. 馬 in Japanese means horse. In Chinese, this was also the adjective for 21st but the Kanji looked more like this 马 instead and was pronounced mǎ in the middle tone. せめて is semete and it means at least or at most and in Spanish it's not pronounced even close to the Japanese word as it omits sounds from the words and means subject this. Well this is all the best I could find. What could you find besides sugata almost sounding like su gata in Spanish anyway?
